Ecclesiastes (KJV)

Ecclesiastes (KJV) by King James Version
By:

Ecclesiastes, a book of the Bible, offers a reflective and somewhat pessimistic look at the nature of life and the human experience. Written by King Solomon, the book delves into themes of meaninglessness, fleeting pleasures, and the inevitability of death. Despite its seemingly bleak outlook, Ecclesiastes also encourages readers to find joy in simple pleasures and to remember the importance of fearing God and keeping His commandments. The language is poetic and thought-provoking, with many famous phrases and verses that have endured through the centuries. Overall, Ecclesiastes is a thought-provoking and philosophical book that challenges readers to consider the true value of their lives and the world around them.

Book Description:

The book of Ecclesiastes is a wonderful book. It tells how all man’s doing is futile, if it is done in his own strength. The last two verses sum it up quite nicely: “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
