Kara Shallenberg breathes life into this story in a very magical way and is never over dramatic or showy. She reads simply, clearly, and beautifully. You will not be disappointed. |

Reviewer: ListeninginChicago - 9/18/2009 20:16 Subject: Excellent children's story Put aside all your conceptions of Heidi from the various movies you have seen − this is a simple and enchanting story, not overly dramatic, but full of laughter, tears, sorrow and joy. And through it all, Johanna Spyri gently teaches lessons about honesty, being true to your word, continuing on when things don't go your way, and being thankful in all things. KayRay is one of my favorite readers on Librivox and she does an excellent job with this book. |
