Tem colunas escritas pelos próprios Mário de Andrade e Menotti Del Picchia, textos azedos de críticos, conferências e poemas que atearam fogo à discussão e que geraram cacarejos, latidos, grunhidos, vaias e aplausos. Lembre-se que em 1922 os artigos de jornal podiam sair na edição do dia seguinte ao evento, ou mesmo dias e até meses depois, sem deixar de ser “novidade”. Os artigos desta coletânea são de 4 ou 5 jornais da época. Mas outros órgãos de imprensa também trataram então do assunto.
