HUCKLEBERRY FINN
By Mark Twain
CHAPTER I.
YOU don't know about me without you have read a book by the name of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer; but that ain't no matter. That book was made by Mr. Mark Twain, and he told the truth, mainly. There was things which he stretched, but mainly he told the truth. That is nothing. I never seen anybody but lied one time or another, without it was Aunt Polly, or the widow, or maybe Mary. Aunt Polly--Tom's Aunt Polly, she is--and Mary, and the Widow Douglas is all told about in that book, which is mostly a true book, with some stretchers, as I said before. Now the way that the book winds up is this: Tom and me found the money that the robbers hid in the cave, and it made us rich. We got six thousand dollars apiece--all gold. It was an awful sight of money when it was piled up. Well, Judge Thatcher he took it and put it out at interest, and it fetched us a dolla

Subject: A beautiful introduction to a beautiful classic.
I've started reading this book on my PDA because these sound files were here, and I knew that they would help me to keep on reading throughout this college semester. Then I began reading a paper copy of Huck Finn−−that is the only experience I recommend. Sitting down with your favorite mp3 compatible sound system and a paper copy of Huck Finn is an excellent way to spend any particular part of your day. Annie Coleman's voice has accompanied my first reading of Huck Finn through all of the chapters of the book and will stay with me forever−−when *ever* I read this book, her's will be the voice I'm listening to in my mind−−no other will do. Thanks Annie!

I didn't want to read the book in the first place, but once I started to listen to the recording, it was great. Annie is great, I love the different voices and the accents!! Good Job!! :)
