Subject: Good character learning book
Now a days when building a childs character is more difficult book reading can help them learn from the mistakes the characters learn in the stories. A lot of charactrer building stories. Listening with children and discussing after each chapter is a very nice way to build family time and understanding.

Subject: Punchkin
Punchkin is not graphic. It is a typical fairytale. If you are familiar with the traditional Grimm and Anderson fairytales this story is not disturbing.

Subject: Junior Classics - Punchkin
Unfortunately, I let my son use my iPod to listen to the first nine stories without previewing them first. Later I listened the story titled Punchkin, and discovered the ending included a very unsettling and overly descriptive dismemberment. Once I realized this I talked to my son and found he was quite upset about what he had heard but had been too disturbed to tell me about it. Needless to say, we will not be listening to any more Junior Classics.
